The Oxford Project
Photographer Peter Feldstein went to the town of Oxford, Iowa in 1984 with the idea of taking portraits of every one of its 700 inhabitants. Years later, he went back to take similar portraits of those very people, and to find out how their lives had changed. The Oxford Project documents the people of Oxford, capturing their stories through words and pictures. We talk with the author/photographer, and add his story to the collection.
