Troost Avenue Roundtable

Troost Avenue has a historic and symbolic significance in Kansas City that sets it apart from other streets in our urban core. What was once known as the city’s racial divide now hosts an annual festival called Troost Fest. In anticipation of that event this weekend, we talk about how perceptions of this street have changed over time, and speak on various community organizations and arts groups currently shaping the future of this historic avenue.
