Kansas City History Series, How We Survived the Great Depression

Listening to stories from elders in our community might put the current recession into perspective. As part of our Kansas City History Series, we’ll talk about the effects of The Great Depression on development in Kansas City. We’ll also discuss WPA projects that came out of the New Deal that influenced the architecture and redevelopment of our city’s physical landscape while helping the local economy to bounce back.
