Opera Soprano Carol Vaness
Carol Vaness performed the title role of Puccini's Tosca at the Metropolitan Opera in 2004 opposite Pavarotti in the legendary tenor's final operatic performance. Today Steve Kraske talks with Vaness about her professional debut as Vitellia for the San Francisco Spring Opera. They discuss just how demanding and fulfilling life in the opera world can be. Also, local UMKC graduate Ben Gulley discusses auditioning for the Metropolitan Opera's National Council.
