The Greening of Greensburg, Kansas
Steve Kraske welcomes some of the organizers behind the “greening” of Greensburg, Kansas, the southwestern Kansas town devastated by an EF5 tornado one year ago. Guests include BNIM architect Stephen Hardy, whose firm developed the town’s master plan, eco-journalist Simran Sethi, Greensburg GreenTown director Daniel Wallach, Greensburg resident and business owner Mike Estes, manager of BTI Greensburg, Greensburg's John Deere dealership, whose operation sustained enormous damage during the tornado and is constructing a new building using green architecture.
